Research
The focus of the research is on learning processes in physics teaching. The deep structure of lessons is examined with regard to a suitable, coherent sequence of learning steps. Studies have shown that structuring lessons according to Fritz Oser's basic models helps weaker pupils in particular to learn physics content.
For learning physics, the cognitive-linguistic acts of describing, explaining and justifying play an important role in physics education. How these can be promoted in the context of physics teaching is also an important area of research.
In addition, research takes place in the area of task development, the diagnosis of learning processes, teaching perception and the comparison of different subject teaching approaches.
