Saturday Morning Physics
The "Saturday Morning Physics" lecture series has a long tradition at our faculty. In easy-to-understand lectures, our researchers introduce interested members of the public to physics topics from various specialist areas.
We look forward to presenting exciting topics to you again in the winter semester 2024/2025. Saturday Morning Physics will take place again this winter semester in the Protestant St. Paul's Church in the city center of Bochum.
The UN has proclaimed 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. More than 57 countries worldwide are celebrating quantum physics for a whole year! In Germany, the celebrations are being held under the auspices of the German Physical Society - under the motto "Quantum2025 - 100 years are just the beginning...". Saturday Morning Physics is also all about quantum physics this year.
Admission is free and registration is not necessary. All interested parties are cordially invited to simply drop by.
