The smell of fresh waffles and an exciting lecture attracted curious listeners to the Pauluskirche in Bochum on Saturday, October 21. For the first time, a Saturday Morning Physics event of the RUB Faculty of Physics and Astronomy took place there. Host Pastor Constantin Decker and Associate Dean Prof. Ilya Eremin welcomed the interested audience and opened the lecture series for the winter semester 2023/2024. The faculty's student council provided fresh waffles and coffee before the lecture began, and Prof. Dr. Anna Franckowiak took the audience on an exciting hunt for ghost particles in the universe and spoke about neutrino astronomy at the South Pole.
