Also this year the faculty invites all interested physics students to an information event for Erasmus studies.
On December 16 at 3:00 pm, students of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy can learn more about the possibilities of studying abroad with Erasmus. In addition to general questions about the application process and requirements, there will also be the opportunity for an exchange with Erasmus alumni and current Erasmus students abroad. The event is hybrid, please find the access data to the Zoom room below. Of course we are very happy if you would like to participate in presence as well, the events will take place in room NB 01/193.
About Erasmus
Erasmus (European Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) is an EU funding program that enables European students to spend a semester abroad in one of the 34 participating program countries (27 EU countries plus the UK, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Turkey, Serbia and Northern Macedonia). The exchange places of the program are subject-specific. As a student at RUB you can study at foreign universities where there is an Erasmus cooperation with your department. You will not incur any costs for your stay at a foreign university; any tuition fees will be waived through the support program. In addition, you will receive funding to cover your costs for the duration of your stay.
Currently, physics students can study at one of these partner universities:
France: Orléans, Paris-Sud/Orsay
Italy: Catania, Turin
Netherlands: Leiden
Norway: Tromsø
Portugal: Lisbon
Sweden: Uppsala, Stockholm
Spain: Madrid, Leioa/Bilbao, Valencia
Czech Republic: Brno
United Kingdom: York
