Why is the sky blue? What actually is a star? How does a rocket work? Children and young people who find the small and big questions of our universe just as exciting are invited to explore the world with us on Mouse Day - from tiny particles to huge galaxies. In experiments, workshops on various topics and a taster lecture, our young guests can get a taste of university life and try their hand at being a budding physicist.

The next Door Opener Day with the Mouse will take place on October 3, 2025.

In addition to the supporting program, we offer refreshments and snacks. Please understand that due to the high number of visitors* we cannot necessarily cater to individual needs such as allergies etc. Please enquire on the day of the event whether there are any suitable options (e.g. vegan, halal, gluten-free).
