Am Montag, den 28. April 2025, um 12:00 Uhr c.t., findet der nächste Termin unseres Physikalischen Kolloquiums statt.
Der Termin ist ein Gedenkkolloquium für Prof. Dr. Helmut Koch, der vor fast einem Jahr verstarb.
Helmut Koch was an enthusiastic Hadron Physicist, who was well known for his contributions to CERN and SLAC experiments. He joined theRuhr-University Bochum in 1990 as Chair of Experimental Physics I, a position that he kept until his retirement in 2006. Many students perceived him as engaged teacher and mentor and will keep his memory alive. This colloquium will give some memories as perceived by individuals who worked with him.
